Parent Literacy Tips

Encourage Journaling - Provide notebooks for your child to write or draw in, fostering their love for storytelling.

Make Reading Multisensory - Combine reading with other activities, such as cooking a meal related to the book.

Host a Family Book Club - Read a book together as a family and discuss it over dinner.

April 8th - Solar Eclipse

April 8th has been designated as a virtual asynchronous learning day.  We will not have school in the building. That means that assignments will be provided by the teachers and students can complete the assignments at any time prior to the deadline given by the teacher. Assignments do not need to be completed on April 8th. Students are approved to complete them any time between the time assigned and the deadline teachers provide. Please read all information from your teachers to participate properly. Assignments completed demonstrate attendance.

Eclipse Glasses

A pair of glasses will be sent home the week of April 1st. These glasses protect their eyes from the damaging effects of the Solar Eclipse. Please make sure they wear them if they go out and look at the event. Thank you.
