Thank you all for your participation in our Advent activities to guide all our students in the meaning of Christmas, the birth of Christ. Remember to use your Advent Calendar and pray as a family to build family unity and consistency from home to school. We have several activities taking place between now and Christmas Break. Tuesday, December 14, will will have an all school prayer service to continue to prepare for the coming of Christ our Savior. On December 16th our bands will perform in the gym. Attendance is limited to 2 adults per student. It will be live streamed and recorded for those unable to attend. Mr. Wolff, our Band Director, will provide details to those families with a band student. This is a mandatory masked event and entrance will be through the gym doors only. On December 17th we will have our final All School Mass prior to Christmas break. That is also a 1:00PM dismissal and no aftercare.

Coats, Hats, and Gloves
Students should come to school everyday prepared to go outside. If you are in need of coats, hats, or gloves for your child please email e.schommer@smsindy.org and he will make sure your child is equipped for the cold weather.
Staff Christmas
Thank you all for your generosity. We still need 20 gift cards so that all our staff have a chance to win one during the Christmas Party. All gift card donations should be delivered to the school office any time by Friday Afternoon.
Family Home Decoration Contest
We need more contestants for our contest. CLICK HERE to participate. It does not need to be great, it just needs to be yours ;) We would love to see your decorated outdoor living space.
School Closures & Delays
We are working to get our text messaging service activated through SchoolMessenger. Please check our Family Calendar and read your emails daily. An email will be sent no later than 6:30AM for a delay or closure. If we have a 2 hour delay, school will be open for drop off at 9:15AM. If we are closed, eLearning will begin at 8AM that day following teacher directions for Google Classroom.
Book Fair
Our book fair continues until December 16. This is a great opportunity to get books for Christmas Gifts. Adults can visit our Book Fair on Tuesday evening from 6-7:30PM and enjoy Wine, Cheese, Crackers, and the book fair.
