Ash Wednesday, Activities, & Volunteerism

We begin the 40 days of Lent today with Ash Wednesday. This is a day of repentance. The ashes on our foreheads received during Mass are a sign of Christianity and our devotion to the Lord. During this season we review and redefine our discipleship. Through reflection, prayer, and the grace of God, our goals for what we can do to improve ourselves and our world are revealed.
