August 14th - First Day of School

Monday August 14th is Our First Day!

Monday is our first day of school. We have a 1:00PM dismissal. Let us begin the year in prayer for our children:

In the name of The Father, and of The Son, and of The Holy Spirit,

Heavenly Father, We give you our hopes, worries and fears as our lovely child starts school. We pray that you would fill their hearts with excitement and calm their worries with your love. Please go before them, help them make friends, enjoy the activities and build relationships with their teachers and caregivers. May we learn to entrust them each day into your care, and as we do may they grow in confidence and independence. Father, may joy abound in their hearts as they enter this new exciting season of their lives. In Jesus name. Amen. www.lords-prayer-words.com

Here are a few things to help everyone to start the new school year:

FOR EVERYONE

  • Patience is necessary. We will show you patience and we ask that you show us and each other patience. We have 50 new families who need to learn how to drop off and pick up. Come early and be prepared to wait the first few days. Our system works once everyone understands where to go.
  • Stay in line. DO NOT PASS ANYONE. IT IS NOT SAFE!
  • If you have paperwork to sign or money to pay, please stop by the office after 8. We are not open until that time so that we can supervise everyone safely.
  • Once our drop off gates are closed you must park in a parking spot and come into the office and sign your child in.
  • Do not park in fire lanes.
  • Do not park in a Handicap Accessible spot without a Handicap tag or License Plate.
  • Breakfast and lunch are free as long as students take the full meal. A la carte and seconds are extra and will be charged to your child’s lunch account.
  • Aftercare is prepaid only. If you are using aftercare you must pay ahead and register. CLICK HERE to register. It is $10/day.
  • If you are not registered and prepaid for aftercare, please arrive no later than 1:15PM. We will call to have your child picked up if you are late. They will not be admitted to aftercare.
