COVID UPDATE
Due to our mandatory masking policy in school as well as the decline in COVID, we are adjusting our quarantine policies to align with Marion County suggestions.
- We will continue masking, as this is the best way to prevent the spread of COVID-19
- We encourage vaccinations to help prevent significant illness and prevent spread among students and teachers
- Close contacts of a COVID positive individual while at school will be notified by email
- These students may stay in the classroom with masks
- They will need to be tested five days after exposure
- Close contacts to a COVID positive individual outside of school or at home
- They will need to quarantine for 10 days
- They may return on day 6 with a negative COVID test if vaccinated
- If anyone at home is sick or awaiting COVID test results, students stay home until results for the COVID test are available
- If your child tests positive for COVID 19
- They will isolate for 10 days
- All assignments can be completed through Google Classroom
