VOLUNTEERS

Food Pantry Parent drivers/chaperones needed

On Tuesdays during the school year, the 7/8 graders participate in service by going to the Witherspoon Food Pantry 8:45-11:30am. If you are able to drive/chaperone a group of 6 students, please use the attached Sign Up Genius link. Driver Chaperone Sign Up All school parents are welcome to help. You can sign up for 1 or as many days as possible. You can receive service hours for helping. All drivers should have taken Safe & Sacred. Thanks.


Los martes durante el año escolar, los estudiantes de 7/8 grado participan en el servicio yendo a la despensa de alimentos de Witherspoon 8: 45-11: 30am. Si puede conducir / acompañar a un grupo de 6 estudiantes, utilice el enlace de Registrarse Genius adjunto. Driver Chaperone Sign Up Todos los padres de la escuela están invitados a ayudar. 1).  Need Concessions Managers!  Financial benefits optional(free sports or cash stipend), email for details.  Responsibilities include ensuring opened/closing concessions stand at *most* events, shopping for food items, making sure inventory is adequate for events
2). Need Gym Managers!  Will be responsible for setting up/putting away chairs, getting bleachers out, setting scorers table, dry mopping floor, etc
3). Need Girls & Boys Coordinators!  Responsibilities include communication with school families for registration deadlines, help recruit players for teams that need players.
4). Floor Cleaning.  Need volunteers to clean the gym floor with a walk-behind Zamboni like mopping machine during winter sport months.

Registration Deadline - September 25th
Boys Basketball - 4th through 8th*
Cheerleading - 4th-8th
*3rd graders are allowed to register for basketball, however, they are not guaranteed a spot, they will be added to the team only if players are needed, one at a time in the order at which they registered.
