Staff Gifts Cards for Christmas Party
We are collecting gift cards again this year. The staff loved them last year at the Christmas Party! If you want to donate, please drop them off in the office. You can claim 1 service hour for every $10 donated. Let’s show our staff how much we appreciate them.
NJHS Sock Drive
Beginning today, NJHS will collect new packaged socks for the homeless served by Wheeler Mission. The sock drive will go through the 20th of December. Socks are always one of the most requested items by those that serve the homeless. My sister lived downtown when she was younger and always kept a basket of socks by the door for the persons who would come to the door asking for spare socks. A pair of socks may not seem like much to us but means so much more to them. Help us make them a little warmer this winter.
The Cardinal Ritter SMART Contest

Calling all Spellers, Mathematicians, and Theologians! Our West Deanery SMART Contest includes a Spell Bowl, Math Test, and Theology Test and we need your participation. If you would like to be a part of this fun evening please contact the teacher below.
THEOLOGY - Mr. Bush is looking for students to be a part of the Theology Team. He needs 3 students from 5-6th grade and 3 students from 7-8th grade to be on the team. If your son or daughter is interested in being on the Theology Team please email Mr. Bush at t.bush@smsindy.org
SPELLING - Mrs. Bourne & Mrs. Duda are looking for students to be a part of the Spelling Team. Saint Monica will have two teams, a 4th -6th grade team and a 7th & 8th grade team. If your son or daughter is interested in being on the Spelling Team please email Mrs. Bourne at a.bourne@smsindy.org

Book Fair Time! Dec 11-16th

Christmas Programs and Concert
PK & Kindergarten students will have a Christmas Program on December 18th at 1:30pm in the Cafeteria.
1st-8th grade students will perform starting at 6:30pm on December 16th.

Ongoing Service Opportunity
We are looking for a few people that can spend some time each week cleaning up the playground and other parts of the property. With our property being on Michigan Road we get a lot of trash blown and thrown into our yard. You could do this at any time of the day on any day of the week. Please contact Mr. Schommer at e.schommer@smsindy.org if you would like to earn you service hours helping us.

Did you know that ticket and snack shop sales account for about 20% of CYO revenue? Without volunteers, we would not be able to host games at St. Monica, we also would be forced to increase sport fee drastically for almost every sport.

Parents – Vaping?

You are encouraged to join us in the cafeteria on January 13th at 7pm to hear from a representative of The Department of Health on youth and Vaping. This is a night for adults only. You can claim 2 service hours for this event. Babysitting will be available for free.
