You did it! You raised over $13,500 and read over 34,500 minutes for the Read-A-Thon to turn our Eagle's Nest into a daily use multi-purpose room. Thank you to everyone who contributed.
Catholic Schools Week
Catholic Schools Week was a great success. We have over 340 students registered for the 2020-2021 school year, we learned about many different saints, supported our staff with lunch and massages, and created a fun atmosphere that promoted faith, family, academics, and service. We ended with our annual 8th grade vs Staff Volleyball game and 50 students student with candles on top singing Happy Birthday to Mr. Schommer for his 50th birthday. It is a proud time to be a St. Monica Eagle. We would love to see everyone return. If you have not registered please contact Mr. Schommer at e.schommer@smsindy.org.
Robotics
We hosted our first Vex Robotics tournament at St. Monica and it was a great success thanks to all of our volunteers. It takes a multitude of volunteers for a tournament this size to run well. Many of our parents, teachers, staff members, and student alumni helped Mr. Julius, Mr. Wolff, and Mrs. Duda run a fabulous event.
Parent Night Tuesday, February 25th – Cyber Safety
You are encouraged to join us in the cafeteria on February 25th at 6:30pm to understand more about your child’s internet safety from an expert. This is a night for adults only. You can claim 2 service hours for this event. Babysitting will be available for free.
Annual Auction
We want everyone to come to our Auction on Saturday, March 7, 2020, St. Monica Catholic School as we host our annual fundraiser, MONICA MADNESS. This time-treasured event will welcome many guests including parents, alumni and friends. All proceeds raised will go towards renovating our gym to enclose our loft area, the “Eagle’s Nest,” turning it into a multi-purpose band classroom. It will include an ADA compliant lift so everyone will have access to the new space. Working together, we can accomplish anything!
