A call to return to in-person learning

I ask that everyone consider options to return to in-person learning at St. Monica. Most children learn better in-person and we continue to be concerned with your child’s safety. We have maintained our strict cleaning, hygiene, and scheduling requirements to reflect our strong desire to reduce risk while in our building.

Safety has been a key factor this school year. Through the entire pandemic, we have only had 7 positive student cases in the building and 0 cases of students transmitting COVID at school. CLICK HERE for the letter from the Department of Health supporting low transmission rates. If you would like to schedule a time to discuss your concerns, please email me at e.schommer@smsindy.org and we can schedule a time to talk. This might be a good time for you to give it a try.

Recess Help Needed

We are striving to take students outside for recess daily. In order to provide the safest environment we need your help. Our recess period in most need of support is from 12:00 - 1:05, for our youngest students. Even if you do not have a student in Kindergarten or First Grade, we welcome your  help supervising the children on the playground. Please consider signing up for a time slot.
