Pennies for Patients

On the first day, a preschool student decided to make a sign and collect money to fill his box outside of the Wal-Mart.  He raised $138 that night. He takes being a hero very seriously. Our collection runs through March 20th in support of the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. CLICK HERE to donate today.

Health Reminders from the Nurses:

Here are some friendly health hygiene reminders to help prevent the spread of illness:

  • Wash your hands often with soap and water, scrubbing for at least 20 seconds (singing the Happy Birthday song lasts about 20 seconds).  Use an alcohol based hand sanitizer when soap and running water is not available.
  • Avoid touching your face, eyes, mouth and nose with unwashed hands
  • Cover your cough and sneeze with a tissue and then throw the tissue away.  If you do not have a tissue, cough or sneeze into the crook of your elbow.
  • Clean/disinfect frequently touched surfaces (door knobs, light switches, counter tops)
  • Avoid close contact with others who are sick.
  • Stay home when you are sick. CLICK HERE for more details on "How Sick is Too Sick"
