Eagle Update May 9, 2020

We have 3 weeks left. Keep up the great work. All families have made a valiant effort to continue to educate in this unprecedented time. It is an honor to continue to partner with you in your child’s educational journey. Continue to pray unceasingly for our world and the continued dignity of the human person.

Welcome Packets

We look forward to your return in August. Our welcome back packets are being mailed this week. If you do not receive yours by May 20th, you may have forgotten to register ;)

Packet Pick up

Our last packet pick up is May 12th from 8am-6pm. Your teachers will notify you if you have something to collect.

End of School and 8th Grade

The last day for our 8th grade is May 21st.  The last day for the rest of the school is May 28th.  We will have an outdoor celebration restricted to only 8th grade immediate families on May 26th in the evening. More details about that event will be sent directly to our 8th grade families through Harmony next week.

Student Belongings

All student belongings including all artwork from Mrs. Corrado may be picked up on May 26-28th in homerooms by sign up only. You may not enter the building without signing up first.  Your teachers are working hard to gather everything in the desks, lockers, and tables including yearbooks, pictures if available, clothing, headphones, writing utensils, and other personal property.  Everyone entering the building must be wearing a mask including children and adults. Please understand that if you arrive without a mask we will not be allowed to let you enter. You may sign up to pick up your belongings at the gym door to avoid entering the building. Summer Camps

We will not be able to provide summer camps this year. We are working to include those types of camps into an after school enrichment program once school resumes in August.

Tutoring

We will notify all eligible families of tutoring opportunities once they have been developed and approved to begin. A more extensive support plan to provide remediation will be provided once we are able to commence services.

Tuition, Lunch, and Extended Care Balances

If you are all caught up, thank you. This assists us in continuing to provide these services. If you have past due balances in these areas, please make arrangements to have them brought to a 0 or positive balance before June 15th. Our service oriented staff are paid through these fees and changes in service may occur for the 2020-2021 if you have unpaid balances. Please contact Mrs. Sinkovic if you have any questions about your debt. j.sinkovic@smsindy.org
