Parent Teacher Conferences are on October 15th and 16th from 3:30-7:00pm. This is a time to schedule an appointment with your child’s teacher to continue developing the relationships necessary for success. Parish Work Day
October 26th 8-noon - This is a great time to clean up the building and grounds before winter and you can claim double service hours for school families.

Trash Bags
Did you order trash bags? Pick up is Thursday, October 10,th, and Friday, October 11th, at the main gym door from 2:30-7pm.
Vision and Hearing Screenings
The Marion County Public Health Department will be coming to St. Monica on Oct. 15 and 16 to perform vision and hearing screenings. Students in grades 1, 3, 5, and 8 will receive vision screenings and students in grades 1, 4 and 7 will receive hearing screenings. Any students who are new to St. Monica from outside of Marion County will receive both screenings. If you do NOT want your child to be screened please complete and return the paper that came home with your student. If you have a child who is not scheduled to be screened (and is in at least first grade) but you WOULD LIKE them to be screened, please email Mrs. Valle at l.valle@smsindy.org and let her know.
Flu & Pneumonia Vaccines
Franciscan Health Immunization Services will be at St. Monica on Wednesday Oct. 16 from 3-7 pm to provide Flu and Pneumonia vaccines in St. Augustine Hall. All parishioners, school families and employees are welcome to attend. Franciscan Health accepts most major health insurance companies (like Anthem, Aetna, Medicare, United Healthcare and Cigna). Please check to make sure that you are in network. If you do not have health insurance, they have a program that assists with the cost of the vaccine. You can also self-pay for $15/vaccine. If you are arriving before 6pm, please enter the building through the main rotunda entrance.
