As we approach Fall Break we want to provide you with several events and activities that will take place during and following the break. 

Leaf Collection

The Giving Garden will have a leaf collection on Saturday 10/28 from 10-1.  Your leaves help make great soil for our garden and it keeps them out of the landfill!

Friday, November 3rd, 6:45pm-9pm @ St.Monica Gym. Join us to watch Coco and celebrate Day of the dead on Friday, November 3rd, 6:45pm-9pm @ St.Monica Gym. Chess Classes at St Monica                              

CLICK HERE for more information and to sign up for chess classes during lunch and recess. This program is great for ALL levels and is taught in a fun way! Classes during lunch and recess, one day a week,are being offered at St. Monica beginning Nov 2 through December 14th. “Learning Through Games" has taught Multiple State Champion Scholastic Teams. However, they are known for their enjoyable and kid friendly style of teaching. No refunds offered after Nov 2nd. Cost is $75 for all sessions. Sister Parish Celebration Mass

On Saturday, Nov. 4, 2023 we are celebrating 20 years of the relationship with our Sister Parish, St. James the Apostle in Honduras.  We hope to have a big turnout to celebrate this special occasion.   There will be a bilingual Mass at 5 PM followed by a meal, music and fellowship from 6-9 PM in the cafeteria.   We hope to be able to link up virtually with our brothers and sisters at St. James during the celebration. They will be visiting our school on November 3rd. Please pray for their safe arrival.

THANKSGIVING FOOD DRIVE

November 6th-10th our school is collecting food items to provide 65 families with a basket of food through St. Vincent De Paul. Each grade has specific items to bring in. Our goal is 65 of each item. St. Monica Parish will be adding turkeys and other items to the baskets as well. All donations must be received by the morning of November 10th. Thank you for your participation.

Preschool - Jiffy type pie crust boxes

Kindergarten - Cans of fruit

First Grade - Bags of noodles

Second Grade - Cans of pumpkin

Third Grade - Cans of cranberries or cranberry sauce & Boxes of Jello

Fourth Grade - Boxes of stuffing

Fifth Grade - Cans of corn and cans of yams

Sixth Grade - Cans of sweetened condensed milk

Seventh Grade - Boxes of turkey broth and cans of green beans

Eighth Grade - Jars or packets of turkey gravy and boxes of mashed potatoes
