Today we begin the 3rd week of Advent. During this week of preparation we focus on Joy. This week we light the pink candle and rejoice in the coming of Christ on Christmas Day. Continue to pray as a family in preparation for the birth of Christ.

December 14th Prayer Service
We will have an all school prayer service on Tuesday. This service will be live streamed.
Coats, Hats, and Gloves
Students should come to school everyday prepared to go outside. If you are in need of coats, hats, or gloves for your child please email e.schommer@smsindy.org and he will make sure your child is equipped for the cold weather.

Family Home Decoration Contest
We need more contestants for our contest. CLICK HERE to participate. It does not need to be great, it just needs to be yours ;) We would love to see your decorated outdoor living space.
School Closures & Delays
We are working to get our text messaging service activated through SchoolMessenger. Please check our Family Calendar and read your emails daily. An email will be sent no later than 6:30AM for a delay or closure. If we have a 2 hour delay, school will be open for drop off at 9:15AM. If we are closed, eLearning will begin at 8AM that day following teacher directions for Google Classroom.
Book Fair - Adult Wine & Cheese Party
Our book fair continues until December 16. Adults can visit our Book Fair on Tuesday evening from 6-7:30PM and enjoy Wine, Cheese, Crackers, and the book fair.
Christmas Band Concert
A short concert will begin at 9AM in the Gym. If you have a band student you may enter at the main gym door starting at 8:30. The doors will close at 9am. Only 2 adults per student permitted for this event. Everyone else is welcome to watch it on Facebook live stream. Details have been provided in email from Mr. Wolff.
