The Catholic Church teaches that all families deserve to be safe and loved at home. Yet 1 out of 4 women and 1 out of 7 men have experienced severe physical violence in an intimate relationship. October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month. Please join us in praying and advocating for safety and peace in our families. Trunk or Treat - October 20
PTO is excited to announce this year's Trunk or Treat to be held on October 20. We had a record turnout in 2022 and need your help to make 2023 a success! Sign up to donate items, host a trunk, help with food, set-up, or clean-up. CLICK HERE to sign up.
NJHS Bake Sale
On October 9-10, we will be having a bake sale. This bake sale will be hosted by the NJHS committee. We will be baking a variety of desserts such as brownies, cookies, cupcakes, and other treats. All treats will be individually wrapped to avoid allergy contamination and germs. We will be selling these items during the 1st-8th grade students' lunchtimes. All items will cost $1-3. All money made will be given to NJHS and used for other projects such as school social events and all school activities. Junior High Basketball Tournament
On October 13, NJHS is sponsoring a junior high only 3v3 basketball tournament from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in the Saint Monica gym. Create your team of three and score your way to the top for the grand prize! In order to participate or watch this tournament you must bring $1, and all of the proceeds will go to the Tear Down the Walls Homeless Ministry. Pumpkin Decorating Contest
In order to get our students excited about the upcoming Trunk or Treat, we would like to have a Pumpkin Decorating Contest. To make this possible we are asking parents if they would be willing to donate pumpkins, acrylic paint, and/or monetary donations. We are in need of 20 medium size/ 10-15 pound pumpkins. Each homeroom PK-8 will be decorating a pumpkin. We would appreciate it if all pumpkins, paint, and/or money would be donated by Monday October 16th. We are very excited to get all of our classes involved and see what creative and spooky designs they come up with! Thank you! -National Junior Honor Society
Get Moving - Support St. Monica!
Move-a-thon officially ends Friday! Please share with friends and family. We still need $7,000 to meet our goal.
Donations are used to directly support St. Monica. Donations have allowed us to improve infrastructure, enhance classroom spaces, and build community.
