Thank you all for your support in picking up students on Wednesday during the power outage. Our entire staff pitched in to provide meals, escort students, and create comfort in the darkness. We found several families that were not receiving emails and we fixed their data. If you did not get an email to read this newsletter, please contact office@smsindy.org and let us know. Volunteers needed Saturday Morning
Please help in the giving garden on Saturday from 8:30 – 10. We at least 30 volunteers to help get the garden in prime condition prior to the St. Monica festival Saturday evening. We usually only have 1 or 2 volunteers. Please come out tomorrow morning. If you help us, your child will earn an out of uniform pass. Help is also needed on Tuesday and Thursday evening this week.
St. Monica Feast Day Festival
Our St. Monica Feast Day Celebration on August 28 will begin with a simple procession of the image of St. Monica at 4 pm, followed by 5 pm Mass in the east parking lot. After Mass we will provide dinner and music. Parishioners are asked to provide the fellowship, joy, and faith--as well as non-alcoholic beverages and some kind of dessert to share! COVID
COVID positive cases for children in Indianapolis are rising at an alarming rate. Please mask and social distance at all times when outside your household and keep your children at home if they have any symptoms. Email nurse@smsindy.org for guidance.
Powerschool is Here!
We are now able to provide guardian access to Powerschool. This is our new platform to replace Harmony. Directions on how to access the system along with codes are being sent home today. Spanish PK-4
We have hired a new teacher for our Spanish PK-4th grade program. We look forward to her starting the week after Labor Day.
