School Choice Scholarships - Past Due
If you received an email reminder last week that you still need to sign your school choice paperwork you are past due. These were to be signed before the start of school. Come on Tuesday and sign your forms. You are at risk of losing your scholarship.
Picture Day
Picture day is Thursday, September 4th. Everyone is required to wear their uniforms. There are no out of uniform passes allowed on Picture Day. We would love to see everyone in their red logo polo shirt or plaid.
Fall Mum Sale
Our First Annual Fall Mum Sale kicks off September 2nd. Catalogs and envelopes are going home with every student. The sale runs for only two weeks, with all orders due back to school September 15th. Mums will be delivered to school on September 30th. Our goal is to sell 800 mums, with all our proceeds going to support the St. Monica Giving Garden.
The top seller will win a JBL G04 Wireless Bluetooth speaker. The top class will earn an ice cream treat at lunch. As a school, if we meet our 800 mum goal, we will have an out of uniform day on September 30th.
Smilemobile
The Smilemobile is coming to St. Monica on Monday, September 15, 2025. This is a low-cost dental program put on by the Marion County Health Department. If you would like your child to be seen, please send a permission form with $30.00 to the office. Medicaid and personal insurance reimbursement are also accepted as payment. Forms will be sent out via backpack mail. We will have extra forms in the school office.

What is PTO?
We are a group of volunteer parents and teachers who work together to raise money to support St. Monica students and staff. We host events and fundraisers throughout the year. Two of this year's goals include ensuring every St. Monica student receives their school t-shirt and every family receives a yearbook for free. Sponsorships available!

We’re proud St. Monica parents with kids in Pre-K through 8th grade, and we’d love for more parents to join us—there are leadership openings we’re excited to fill this year. Positions include Treasurer, Takeout Tuesday Coordinator, Spiritwear Coordinator, and Hospitality Coordinator. See flyer for details.
What's new with PTO?
Grade levels have been pre-assigned to help with specific events this year, but we will still share every event sign-up and all are welcome! Our goal is to make it easier for families with children of all ages to participate.
September School Events hosted by PTO
- September 5 - Fall Family Fun Night, 6:30 - 8:30 pm, free to attend Family Kickball game in collaboration with CYO, food available for purchase (Volunteer & Donation Sign Up)
- September 8 - PTO Meeting, 6:30 - 7:30 pm, School Cafeteria (link to sign up for PTO emails) - no RSVP required, just a desire to support SMS
- September 9 - Take Out Tuesday - Puccini's, 4:00 - 9:00 pm, 20% of your order supports St. Monica!
