The person is not only sacred but also social. How we organize our society -- in economics and politics, in law and policy -- directly affects human dignity and the capacity of individuals to grow in community. Marriage and the family are the central social institutions that must be supported and strengthened, not undermined. We believe people have a right and a duty to participate in society, seeking together the common good and well-being of all, especially the poor and vulnerable.

Nurse Notes

If you didn't attend the Back to School Bash and fill out a Health History form for this school year, please check your child's book bag. Forms were sent home this week with those students still needing forms completed for this year. Please return to school as soon as possible. It is important to have this information to help the nurse, staff, and cafeteria with any health concerns/allergies your child may have.

Any time your child needs medication administered at school, you must fill out a Medication Administration form. These can be found in the school office. Medication must be dropped off and picked up by an adult.

If your child has asthma, you will need to have an Asthma Action Plan on file here in the office. This form must be filled out and signed by a physician.

Please make sure your child has a water bottle with them every day. All students were given a free St. Monica water bottle last week. We suggest you write their name on it in permanent marker. We no longer have water fountains, but we do have water bottle refill stations. It is important for your child to stay hydrated. Drinking plenty of water may help avoid headaches, sore throats, and stomach aches and the need to return home from school early due to illnesses.

CYO Sports

We need coaches and volunteers for all sports. No experience required. Contact cyo@smsindy.org to let them know you want to help. We will have a sign up sheet at the Welcome Back Bash.

If you need help registering a student for a sport please send an email to cyo@stmonicaindy.org or call 317 255 7153 ext 123.
