Message from the Cafeteria

Dear St. Monica Families,

My name is Mrs. Cordero, and I am the Child Nutrition Program Director here at St. Monica Catholic School.

I would like to take a moment to remind all parents to please make sure your student's MySchoolBucks account has funds available to cover any additional food purchases.

I work closely with the state to ensure that every student receives their free, reimbursable breakfast and lunch. Students participating in Extended Care or other after-school programs offered at St. Monica also receive a free snack when eligible.

However, this school year, we have noticed an increase in students requesting extra entrees, additional servings, and milk without having sufficient funds in their accounts to purchase these items.

Please understand that while every eligible student receives their reimbursable meals at no cost, additional items and extra servings must be paid for.

We kindly ask that you take a moment to check your student's MySchoolBucks balance and add funds as needed.

If you need assistance or have questions, please reach out to Jessica Sinkovic, who will be happy to help.

Thank you for your cooperation and continued support. We appreciate your partnership in helping us keep our Child Nutrition Program running smoothly!

Sincerely,

Mrs. Cordero
Child Nutrition Program Director

Crooked Creek Food Pantry Help

The Crooked Creek Food Pantry is always looking for volunteers. Volunteering at the food pantry counts toward school required volunteer hours.

In order to volunteer you must register first. After that, you can sign up to volunteer with the St. Monica volunteers at the Wednesday morning slot or for any other opportunities that fit your schedule. Children must be at least nine years old and accompanied by a parent or other adult. That allows them to work inside. Youth must be 15 years old to work outside on the distribution line.
