Message from the Principal

We open our school year in prayer:

Heavenly Father, thank you for the opportunity to be a part of the 367 students of St. Monica Catholic school and their families. We ask for your blessing upon this year that we work together to educate in Your love for the growth of everyone in Faith, Academics, and service to others. Surround our families with Your loving peace as they navigate the school culture. Surround our educators with Your loving peace as they prepare to serve Your children and families. Finally, Surround Your children with Your loving peace as they enter the new school year. AMEN

School begins August 11 and we are looking forward to everyone attending St. Monica this year. Attendance is a priority of St. Monica School and the State of Indiana. On time daily attendance is a factor in student success. Please plan to leave your residence on time to arrive prior to 7:40AM. We will be in the lots starting Tuesday to help guide everyone in following our traffic patterns. Please arrive with patience as we help those who need our assistance.

DROP OFF

Drop off times 7:00-7:45 enter from Fox Hill only

Pick up times 1:00-1:15 enter from Fox Hill only

Do not arrive before 12:30 on 1:00 dismissal days

Do not arrive before 2:30 on 3:00 dismissal days

Once we are all parked we will ask you to get out of your vehicles to gather your children. Please be prepared to do so. 

Stay in contact with your child's teacher to let them know where your child should go if you make changes otherwise there will be a delay in picking up your child.

Extended Day Care

You will be called to pick up your child if you are not registered and paid.

Cell Phone Smart Watch Reminder

No cell phone, smart watches, or fitness trackers are permitted in the school. They must be kept in the backpack in the locker turned off. Items will be confiscated if not in the proper place turned off. More information is located in our FAMILY HANDBOOK on pages 11 and 12.

Chess Club

This program is great for ALL levels, kindergarten through 8th grade. Weekly classes are being offered at St. Monica during lunch and recess, the week of August 27th through October 8th. Learning Through Games has taught Multiple State Champion Scholastic Teams. However they are best known for their fun style of teaching! Cost is $66. Click Here to Register
